Accounting Intern at the Foundation for Jewish Philanthropies –  The purpose of this internship is to develop a full set of books accounting opportunities, such as fund Accounting, investment accounting, A/R, A/P. Administrative Development at Just for Kids  The purpose of this internship is to help the administrative team at Just for Kids successfully prepare its before and after school programs for the start of the 2023-2024 school year. The Administrative Intern will have the opportunity to help all departments within Just for Kids with various tasks to help ensure that before and after school programs are set to open on the first days of school for the 2023-2024 school year. This internship is for students looking to expand experience into the structural, administrative, and organizational realm of non-profit organizations. Career Services Intern at Jewish Family Services of Western New York – The purpose of this internship is to assist our job developers with clients within our employment programs, assisting clients to develop resumes and cover letters; and fill out job applications. Clinical Research Opportunity in the Division of Behavioral Medicine – The purpose of this internship is to gain familiarity with the processes and procedures of a clinical research facility in the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. The intern will receive training to be able to assist with the following research study activities: recruitment and screening of participants, scheduling assessment visits, tracking participants through multiple stages of clinical trial through REDCap, organizing patient data, and assisting with other research related tasks. Curriculum Design and Event Planning at LiNK Jewish Buffalo – The purpose of this internship is to support LiNK's initiatives around addressing antisemitism and educating about Israel, and to help create opportunities for meaningful and relevant Jewish exploration and learning. The background required is knowledge of Jewish Buffalo, Israel, antisemitism, and prior experience planning programs. The intern will join Buffalo Jewish Federation’s team and it is an opportunity for LiNK to introduce fresh perspectives, talent, and skills into our workforce and our communities. The full Buffalo Jewish Federation professional team works in a Virtual First environment, though with some in person gatherings. Curriculum Development Intern at Just for Kids – The purpose of this internship is to create youth curriculum programming and planning, long range planning, and activity development for our before and after school programs- focusing on kindergarten through sixth grade students. This intern will help to create the first part of our curriculum for our before and after school programs for the 2023-2024 school year and assist our Curriculum Development Specialist with creating, planning, and organizing lessons/activities for our before and after school programs. Our Intern will also gain experience by periodically visiting our sites to facilitate the activities that they have planned under the supervision of the Program Manager. Digital Marketing Intern at Buffalo Toronto Public Media (WNED PBS NPR) – The purpose of this internship is to work directly with the Senior Digital Marketing Coordinator to create various advertising and promotional campaigns across the Google Ads network, social media, and email. The intern will gain experience in digital advertising methods, copywriting, and data collection, while utilizing a variety of platforms, and complete the internship with a varied portfolio. Hours are flexible and work may be hybrid – a blend of remote and in-office work. Responsibilities include assisting with research, creating, and proofing content for digital advertising efforts, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google;
writing creative, engaging copy to use in promotional campaigns, fundraising emails, and e-newsletters;
assisting with data collection and analysis across platforms to determine the success of ad campaigns;
helping define digital marketing strategy; and research current marketing trends to improve creative and strategic direction of marketing campaigns.

Digital Video Production Intern at Buffalo Toronto Public Media (WNED PBS NPR) – The purpose of this internship is to work directly with the executive producer to create and produce content for our station. The intern will gain experience in public media to attain producing, editing and digital skills as well as complete the internship with a varied portfolio. Disability and Special Need Support at People Inc. – The purpose of this internship is to develop a meaningful and challenging project to help individuals with disabling conditions or other special needs participate and succeed in an accepting society. Some necessary skills include lifting requirement of 35 lbs.; ability to lift and transfer individuals as required by prescribed program/plan; ability to move, reposition, and place individuals in pieces of equipment; physical agility and ability to react to emergency situations, including Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention (SCIP-R) certification as per regulatory guidelines (provided in training); and Certification in CPR (provided in training). Graphic Design Intern at Buffalo Toronto Public Media (WNED PBS NPR) – The purpose of this internship is to work directly with the Senior Graphic & Brand Designer to create various visual assets for advertising, social media, websites, email marketing, and apps. The intern will gain experience in creating eye-catching designs that work on digital platforms and follow brand standards, all the while building a varied portfolio and gaining valuable work experience. Opportunities to collaborate with other departments will be available. Hours are flexible and work may be hybrid – a blend of remote and in-office work. Inside Sales at Venture Steel - The purpose of this internship is to aide the inside sales department with ensuring orders are properly managed and shipped on time. The intern will assist the Inside Sales team with quoting, order entry, logistics, expediting, inventory management, coordination with Plant and other Departments. Learning and Engagement Intern at Buffalo Toronto Public Media (WNED PBS NPR) – The purpose of this internship is to support the department’s activities by participating in the preparation, organization and execution of community and school events both on- and off-site. Based on operational need, the intern may assist in the creation and development of educational materials related to our productions. Hours are flexible and work may be hybrid – a blend of remote and in-office work. Marketing, PR and Development at the Foundation for Jewish Philanthropies – The purpose of this internship is to support and expand the Foundation's ongoing marketing, public relations and development efforts through continuous new and refreshed content and presence on the organization’s website, social media platforms, traditional media, and direct messaging to existing donor clients, prospective clients, and professional referral sources. Success will be measured by reliably meeting traditional media outlets' submission deadlines, providing quality (timely, well written and relevant) submissions, posts and communications to projects' stakeholders and by the frequency of posts and marketing communications. Radio News Intern at Buffalo Toronto Public Media (WNED PBS NPR) – The purpose of this internship is to work directly with the news director, managing editor, reporters and digital staff to create and produce content for our station. The intern will gain audio and digital experience in public media broadcasting and news content as well as complete the internship with a varied portfolio. Refugee Services at Jewish Family Services of Western New York – The purpose of this internship is assist refugee services case managers in their day-to-day responsibilities in supporting refugee clients. This includes assisting clients during walk-in hours, helping with apartment set up and orientation to household management, bus training, driving clients to appointments when needed, assisting with weekly cultural orientations, and assisting in clerical duties. Social Media and Digital Marketing at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Buffalo – The purpose of this internship is to work with the communications department during the busy season of summer events, programs, content creation, graphic design, photography, and social media production.

The intern will create content that will be used all year round by the JCC. Our intern will work on graphic designs, photography, video, drones, social media, scriptwriting, and computer editing. This also includes taking photos around the JCC and Camp Centerland, supporting our summer esports and photography camps. Social Media/Marketing Intern at Buffalo Toronto Public Media (WNED PBS NPR) – The purpose of this internship is to work directly with the social media coordinator to create content for our family of social media accounts. The intern will gain experience with multiple stations and platforms and complete the internship with a varied portfolio. Opportunities to work with other marketing personnel will be available.  Hours are flexible and work may be hybrid – a blend of remote and in-office work. Responsibilities include assisting with research, drafting, and proofing content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, et al.; assisting in monitoring responses across platforms as well as researching potential social media contacts, tools, events, and opportunities;

WBFO The Bridge Intern at Buffalo Toronto Public Media (WNED PBS NPR) – The purpose of this internship is to assist the program director of The Bridge with research, planning, development, and implementation of music programming, digital strategy, and content for use on social media and the web. The intern will gain experience in station branding and management while learning music curation, basic editing and recording, social media and web content creation. Opportunities to collaborate with other departments will be available. Hours are flexible and work may be hybrid – a blend of remote and in-office work.
