High Holidays 2021 - 5782

To ensure we can begin the new year in health and safety, Hillel will have modified High Holiday offerings this year.

Services will be led by Rabbi Sara Rich and Cantorial Soloist Zahava Fried.

Evening Services for Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur will take place at Hillel and are limited to current undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff of UB, Buffalo State, and other local colleges.

Morning Services for Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur will take place at the JCC Benderson Building and are open to members of the community, as well as students, faculty and staff.

*Proof of vaccination must be shown for eligible participants to attend in-person services in all locations.

*Face coverings must be worn for the duration of services.

Locations:

Hillel of Buffalo is located in the UB Commons 101B. Parking is available in the UB Bookstore Lot. Use 200 Lee Road in your GPS, and head into the main building, passing the garden on your left. Hillel is on the first floor off the main lobby, between SEFCU bank and the Greek Store. Parking is free for the duration of the services, but you must take a ticket as you enter and display it on your dashboard.

JCC Benderson Family Building is located at 2640 North Forest Road, Getzville, NY 14068. The service will take place in the Maxine and Robert Seller theatre on the first floor. Ample parking, including accessible spots, are available.
