Buffalo has a vibrant and committed Jewish community. The Jewish Federation of Greater Buffalo is Hillel’s primary funding source. Hillel of Buffalo partners with many agencies and synagogues for special programs and Jewish students from UB participate in community fundraising activities and other community events.

Area synagogues welcome students for the High Holidays, Shabbat and all other holidays throughout the year. Many
board members and the Jewish community at large offer home hospitality as well.
